Consultation and Litigation

Unlike many organizations that focus on the rights of one protected class or another, ADC, believing that all forms of discrimination are wrongful, works to prevent and remedy discrimination across all protected classes.

Consultation for, and co-counseling with, attorneys and organizations

ADC is frequently called upon to provide strategic and tactical advice on a wide range of Title VII, ADA, ADEA, and Fair Housing Act matters, and is the leading source of information, advice, and expertise on the New York City Human Rights Law.  In selected matters raising important legal issues, the Center has been prepared to participate on a co-counsel or of counsel basis.  To discuss working with ADC, please use the form to the right.

Housing discrimination litigation

For those who have been discriminated in housing — including those denied reasonable accommodation for needs related to a disability — the contact form to the right is the best mechanism by which to reach us.

Individual employment discrimination matters

ADC is not currently engaging in direct representation of individuals who are victims of employment discrimination with the exception of cases co-counseled with other organizations or attorneys.
